Saxon Shore’s new album finished
From an e-mail sent to fans on Aug. 21:
“We’re very pleased to announce that we have completed a new album titled “It Doesn’t Matter,” working once again with producer Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Clap Your Hands, Flaming Lips). The album is our most ambitious release yet and comes in at just under 55 minutes. There are also some vocals on the album this time courtesy of the lovely Ms. Caroline Lufkin. No release/tours are scheduled for North America yet as we are still trying to find the right home for this one. However, tour dates are underway for 2009 in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe and also a show or two at CMJ this fall.
