Artist Nina Katchadourian has been getting a lot of attention on the Web lately for her book sorting, a process where a collection of books is sorted so that various titles of books in a stack can be read in sequence from top to bottom. She’s actually been up to it for some time now –since 1993.
Her Web site has links to photos of many of the book sorting projects with which she has been involved. It’s worth checking out and maybe even trying with the books on your bookshelf.
