Video: Synecdoche, New York trailer

A trailer has been posted for Charlie Kaufman’s highly anticipated directorial debut Synecdoche, New York. The film recently debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival and has had critics scratching their heads so far.

Peter Sciretta of Slash Film called it “either brilliant or completely insane,” adding that is the type of movie that “requires repeat viewings to understand the many layers of complexity.” This shouldn’t be too much of a surprise considering Kaufman’s past screenwriting efforts — Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Being John Malkovich and Human Nature.
