The forthcoming Coen Brothers movie, Inside Llewyn Davis, explores the ’60s folk music scene in New York through the eyes of a singer-songwriter and is loosely based on folk singer Dave Van Ronk’s posthumously published memoir The Mayor of MacDougal Street.
