Great Lake Swimmers to tour U.S.

Though the band's next record isn't due out until Spring 2009, fans in select U.S. cities will get a chance to catch the Great Lake Swimmers live in August and September, the Toronto band has announced.

In addition to working on new material, frontman Tony Dekker scored his first film soundtrack in the winter for the documentary film "Song Sung Blue" and collaborated with fellow Torontonian musician Sandro Perri to create music for The Music Gallery-curated "Concrete Toronto."
