Jurado releases song not on new record

Damien Jurado gave fans a little insight into what won't be on his new record "Caught in Trees" with the release of the song "Ferocious Chorus" on his MySpace site Thursday.

If this is what one of the songs that didn't "make the cut" sounds like, the new album should be another gem for the Seattle-based artist. The song features the trademark Jurado croon set to some pretty stellar orchestration. Listen for yourself while you still can - myspace.com/damienjurado.

Not a whole lot has been revealed yet about "Caught in Trees," other than the title and its release date -- Sept. 9 Secretly Candian (his fourth full-length for them and ninth overall).
