It’s been long enough now since promising dreamy synth-pop Toronto band Grounders released their Wreck of A Smile EP that I almost forgot about how much I enjoyed the four-song tease that came out in March 2013.

But now with news of a forthcoming debut full-length releasing in May and the release of the first single “Secret Friend” off it my memory is perfectly refreshed.

Their self-titled debut comes out on Nevado Music May 12. You can listen to “Secret Friend” below.
