I have some observations based on the game that I witnessed along with Charlie Manuel’s bobblehead. The Phillies have some hitters, and the Washington Nationals are awful! Having a team like that in your division will guarantee that you have a competitive record at the end of the season. Oh yeah, the seats at this great new ballpark are the smallest I have ever sat in. I am a pretty thin guy, so if I was cramped, I feel badly for anyone with a large frame who pays $50 to sit in discomfort. Come on Philly, can you do anything right?.
Maybe they are trying to get Philadelphians to lose weight… Then again having a sandwich with cheesesteak, fried salami, and mounds of cheese at the stadium isn’t helping.
